Rose flavoured Papri chat ..

Meri bahut favourite hai .. Mere Papa ko bi bahut pasand thi or jb wo mumy se bnwate the tb se khayi or seekhi maine ..

Proper taiyari k sath bnaati thi mumy .. Papri ..boiled aloo .. urad dal ki mini pakoriya ..dahi ..imli chutney .. yaad krk hi mn hone lga khane ko ..

Waise to mujhe purani traditional recipe hi follow krna pasand hai .. Pr kbhi kbhi kch try krne mn kr hi jata hai .. Parties and get together main guests k liye kch nayi innovative dish ho to khane wale bi khus or bnaane wale ko bi maja aata hai ..So lets start .. Recipe for "Rose flavoured papari chat .. first of all you need to make Papri fo it or aap ise bna kr store kr sakte hai for few days .. iske liye aapko chaiye

  1. Maida or all purpose flour one bowl 
  2. Whole wheat aata 1/4bowl 
  3. 2tsp oil 
  4. Salt to taste 
  5. Oil for frying
Water for kneading the dough
Take both the flour add salt and lukewarm oil mix well and knead a dough with the help of water .. keep aside for 10 min.and then make a small size ball of it and roll it with rollar pin in small round shape it should be thin not much thick ..
Make all the papri's and prick it with a fork.and fry  it till they become  crispy ..

Next step is to made rose flavoured curd ..

  1. For this you need ... Hung curd one big bowl
  2. Beet root juice .. 4tsp .. 
  3. 2tsp powdered sugar 
  4. Rose water 2tsp .. mix all them and your pink coloured rose flavoured curd is ready 
Third step is to boil potatoes and cut it in small cubes ....

Forth step is to make tamrind sauce ..(Imli ki chutney ) You can use ready made tamrind sauce which is  also easily available in the market bt i prefer home made always .. so for making imli ki chutney you need

  1. Tamrind pulp strained .. one bowl
  2. Sugar or jaggery one bowl 
  3. Salt and black salt to taste 
  4. Red chilli powder or whole red chillies one tsp 
  5. Garam masala 1/4tsp 
  6. Ginger powder a pinch
  7. 1tsp oil 
1/2 tsp cumin seeds .. take a pan heat oil add cumin seeds than add tamrind puree stir and after a while add sugar or jaggery then add salt black salt and red chilli powder .. if you are adding red chilli powder then skip whole red chillies and if you are adding whole chillies then skip red chilli powder .. cook this sauce till it thickens .. at last add garam masala and ginger powder .. your Tamrind sauce is ready you can make it in a double quantity and can store it in your fridge for months ..


And you need some spices for it .. 
  1. Salt 
  2. Black salt
  3. Roasted cumin powder
  4. Roasted red chilli flakes
  5. Some chopped green chillies and coriander ..Now this is time to assemble and present this spectacular dish  . .. 
Take a beautiful glass bowl or a glass from your kitchen .. first crushed papri's and put it into the glass ..add all the spices and green chilli coriander to the potatao cubes mix well and .. put a spoon full of this mixture to the glass ..

After this add a spoon of tamrind sauce in the glass and at last add generous amount of rose flavoured hung curd mixture to the glass ..

 And sprinkle some red chilli flakes and garnish this beautiful looking dish with some red rose petals ..
