THANDAI COOKIES ...

Ingredients ...
1.  Maida ( All purpose flour) - 1cup
2. Butter or ghee 1/ 2 cup
3. Cheeni pisi hui (sugar grinded -1/2 cup
4.Corn flour - 2 tablespoon
5.Thandai masala - 1/4 cup
6. Rose water - 2 tsp
7. Baking soda - 1/8 tsp
8. Pistachio ( Pista) thode se, few for garnishing.

9. Safforn ( kesar) few strings. Soaked in milk.

Thandai masala chahe to readymade bhi le sakte hai, pr homemade thandai masala ek fresh flavor dega in cookies ko.


Thandai masale ke liye jo ingredients hme chaiye honge ...

1. Almonds ( Badam) -1/2 cup
2. Whole Black pepper corns( kali mirch) 10
3. Poppy seeds ( Posta Dana,khas- khas)-1tsp
4. Fennel seeds ( saunf) 1tsp
5. Cardamom seeds ( ilayachi) - 1/2 tsp
Thandai masale ke liye in sari chijo ko pan main dal kr slightly roast kr le, aur thanda hone ke baad coarsely grind kr le, bahut bareek peesna jaroori ni halka dardara rakh sakte hai .

Ab ek bada bowl le kr usme maida, thandai masala or corn flour aur baking soda dal kr acche se mix kr lijye, butter or sugar ko hand grinder se grind kr ke ek creamy texture wala mixture bna le, hand grinder nahi hai to aap hatho se hi kisi spatula ki madad se, butter or sugar ke mixture ko creamy aur light hone tk beat kr lijye,  rose water ko isi mixture main dal kr mix kr lijye .

Ab dry ingredients wala mixture butter aur sugar ke mixture main dal kr halke hatho se milate hue, ek dough taiyar kr lijye, aur dough ko plastic wrap krk fridge main rakh dijye for half -n - hour.

In between Safforn strings ko thode se milk main soak krk rakh dijye, or Pistachio ko slice kr lijye.

Oven ko 180° C pr preaheat kr lijye, cookie ke mixture ko fridge se nikaliye or cookie cutter se ya phir hatho se press krk round shape ki cookies bna lijye, cookies ke upar saffron milk brush se lga dijye or upar se sliced pistachios ko lga dijye.  Ab preheated oven main cookies ko 10 to 15 min.tk bake kr lijye.

Cookies ko thanda hone ke baad aap ise airtight container main rakh dijye, Aap in cookies ko upto 15 -20 days tk aaram se consume kr sakte hai. Aap or aapke guests dono khus ho jayenge ise bna kr, guest kha kr khus or aap baar baar thandai bnaane ke chakkar se free ho kr.

Waise thandai ko peene ka ek alag maja hai, pr in cookies ko khane ka bi apna ek alag hi maja hai . Bna kr dekhiye ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ .
